So, AI can be a great addition to your fitness apps, but it will fail to give you authentic results. Professional training coaches understand the aspects of your physiology much better than AI and if you are looking to get healthier and fitter.
Wearable technology is another great inclusion in our daily lives. The introduction of sleep trackers and smartwatches has totally been a game-changer. Earlier, checking blood pressure or heart rate was certainly not an easy task. Today, with the help of technology people can track their heart’s health, blood pressure, and many more. It is an excellent tool that is easy to wear and can give you updates about your health 24*7. The most surprising factor is that the tracking gradually improves with the information it gets from your daily information.
Some of the smartwatches are so advanced that they even help to track HRV or heart rate variability which has been proven to save many patients in time. AI is so high-powered that it provides accurate information. It has definitely become the constant health checker and seamlessly seeped into the lives of human beings.
However, when it comes to fitness tracking accuracy, it has limited capabilities. Most of us tend to wear our smart watches during workouts to know how many calories we burnt, and sometimes the calculation is wrong. In some cases, even the wearables overestimate the calories burnt and hence feed you with wrong information. So, it is essential, not to rely completely on those smart wearables for your health and fitness goals. It is an easier way to keep a record and stay motivated in your journey. But professional guidance is always needed and that is the best way to go forward.
